Lucia Wang
Lucia (Jingxuan) Wang is a master student at Naropa University, specializing in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program and expected to graduate in May 2025. Lucia brings a warm, playful, and culturally sensitive approach to her sessions, utilizing mindfulness, Gestalt, DBT, and play therapy techniques to help individuals embrace their true
selves and celebrate their uniqueness. Born and raised in Beijing, China, and having traveled extensively across Asia, Lucia has immersed herself in diverse cultures and understands the significant impact our cultural identities have on our lived experiences.She is fluent in English and Mandarin and is dedicated to working with BIPOC-identified populations.
Lucia has a strong background in child-centered therapy and family systems and is also trained in Level 2 Gottman Couple Method. She is passionate about supporting children, families, and couples, particularly those navigating the unique intersectionality of multiple complex identities. Lucia also has a keen interest in working with teenagers experiencing grief and eating disorders. In her free time, Lucia enjoys cooking various cuisines, dancing to live music, exploring the outdoors, visiting art museums, and laughing.
